Vivian
My name is Vivian Nzikuru.
I joined R.E.A.L Yoghurt when the organisation had just begun. They came to our community to engage us, host us on their land, and participate in Sunday school programs. They got to know me, so when they started the business, I was invited and I joined in and started working here.
Before I joined R.E.A.L Yoghurt, I didn't know that I could be able to do any job on earth. Joining R.E.A.L Yoghurt gave me the skills and desire to work hard.

I had many challenges before joining. I remember when my parents did not have money and couldn't buy the things we needed. While at school, I would save the money I would be given to buy food so that I am able to buy the things we needed.
Today, at least I can be able to do something for myself. Of course, I still have challenged, and I share with my parents but at least there is a lot of improvement in my life, even in my social life

In the future, I will be able to start my own company because I have a dream, and working here means I can save up to achieve that dream

Our boss pays in time and she doesn't use abusive language. She speaks politely with people, that is why people are encouraged to work in R.E.A.L Yoghurt

When other people see us working here, they are also influenced to work. Those who were not able to get the opportunity to join here could go with hope that they would maybe be able to find other companies to work for.

I encourage ladies and women to not just sit there when they know that they are able to do something. If you feel you can try, feel free take a step, go and approach and use language that will help you influence the person that you're talking to to give you what you want or desire. In case you get the opportunity, use it properly so that you're able to earn what you've not been able to earn before from your sweat.
Help R.E.A.L Yoghurt support more women in the community
